On Wednesday, May 6, matches of the Rome Open tennis tournament were underway, but several of them were called off.

Details: The issue lies in the poor weather conditions currently affecting Rome. As a result, the organizers decided to cancel the matches scheduled for today and move them to tomorrow. Three matches were suspended, while one was postponed entirely.

We recently reported that Carlos Alcaraz officially announced his withdrawal from the tournaments in Rome and the upcoming Roland Garros. Following a series of medical examinations, it became clear that rushing his return to the court would be risky.

Reminder: American tennis player Taylor Fritz and his long-time partner Morgan Riddle are no longer together.
