Former Belgium international Radja Nainggolan has broken his silence regarding his arrest in connection with an alleged drug trafficking case. The ex-midfielder addressed the situation on his Instagram page.
Nainggolan stated that he has returned home and wants to fully focus on football while regaining his peace of mind. He urged fans to respect his privacy and give him time to recover. He also emphasized that he will not be discussing his arrest any further.

Additionally, the player expressed gratitude to his lawyers, Omar and Mounir Souidi, as well as to the fans of Lokeren-Temse and his teammates for their support.
Reports indicate that Nainggolan was granted conditional early release on Tuesday. His lawyers have stressed that their client was not questioned over drug trafficking itself but rather over financial transactions.
Nainggolan was among 17 people detained under suspicion of involvement in a smuggling network. During the operation, police seized 2.7 kg of cocaine, firearms, luxury watches, jewelry, gold, and €370,000 in cash.
