Liverpool and Manchester City are facing off in the headline fixture of Premier League matchweek 25.
The first half was quite eventful, but there were arguably more controversial incidents than clear-cut chances.
Guardiola's men had the upper hand before the break, but Liverpool managed to push the action away from their goal after halftime. In the 69th minute, Marc Guehi held back Mohamed Salah right on the edge of the penalty area. The referee called the foul and handed the defender a yellow card.
The incident proved highly contentious, with Liverpool players demanding a harsher punishment—either a red card or a penalty. However, replays clearly showed the foul occurred just outside the box, so the referee's decision appears to have been correct.
