Conor McGregor has revealed when to expect his return


Conor McGregor was set to fight at the end of June, but the bout was postponed due to the Irishman's injury.
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Conor revealed that he is expected to return to the octagon by the end of 2024. He mentioned that he is eagerly anticipating and preparing for his comeback.
"My return is scheduled for the end of the year. Sometime towards the end of this year. So, I'm close to coming back. An incident happened, and we had to push back my return. I accept it and don't complain, we move forward.
The fight is now set for the end of this calendar year. Therefore, I am thrilled and very much looking forward to coming back," McGregor stated.
Earlier, Conor discussed his recovery from a broken toe. According to the former champion, he has started stem cell treatment.
In June, McGregor commented on the cancellation of his fight with Michael Chandler, which was scheduled for June. The bout was canceled due to the Irishman's injury.
The 35-year-old McGregor has not fought since July 2021, when he broke his leg during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.
