In the fourth game of the Stanley Cup Finals, the Edmonton Oilers crushed the Florida Panthers 8-1.

In this game, the Canadian team's leader and captain, Connor McDavid, provided three assists, allowing him to surpass the great Wayne Gretzky for the most assists in a single Stanley Cup playoff. The legendary Canadian had recorded 31 assists. McDavid now has 32 assists to his name.

The Oilers' resounding victory has brought the series score to 3-1. The next game will take place in Sunrise on the night of Wednesday, June 19.

It's worth noting that only one team in the history of the finals has managed to come back from a 0-3 series deficit. In 1942, the Toronto Maple Leafs accomplished this feat against Detroit to win the trophy.
