There is a lot of uncertainty about the possible sale of Ismaily SC, a very old and famous football club in Egypt. Different stories are being told about a possible offer from a place in the Gulf.

Someone from the Ismaily club's management has strongly said that these rumors are not true. They said that the board has not received any official offers and that this topic has not been talked about inside the club. "We are unaware of any details regarding this claim," the source clarified.

However, former Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Abd El Moneim Amara previously stated that the club had indeed received a significant offer from a Gulf-based company approximately two months ago. The company, Amara, intends to dispatch personnel to Ismailia shortly in order to complete the transaction. They will speak with the Minister of Youth and Sports as well as the governor of Ismaily.

Amara, who has a direct hand in this, claimed that the agreement will alleviate the club's financial difficulties. But he also stressed that the company wants to keep the club's name and make sure that people from inside the club still have a part in managing it.

Representatives of the company are expected to arrive in Ismailia on November 27 to conclude the negotiations.
