Confirmed. Juventus veteran has left the team

After seven years of cooperation, Juventus and Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny decided to finally separate, breaking the contract by mutual consent.
This was announced by the press service of the Turin club. The statement emphasises that ‘this operation has a negative economic impact for the 2023/2024 financial year in the amount of 1.6 million euros due to the adjustment of the book value of the registration rights of the player’.
At the Turin club, Szczęsny played 252 matches, 103 of which were without conceding a goal. In total, the 34-year-old Polish goalkeeper has conceded 233 goals for Juventus.
Earlier it was assumed that the goalkeeper would end up in Saudi Arabia, where there was substantial interest in him, but the clubs were unable to allocate the appropriate funds for the arrival of the Pole.
