Conceição, dismissed from Porto, has agreed on the terms of a contract with a top European top-club

Sérgio Conceição, recently dismissed from Porto, has agreed on the terms of a contract with French club Marseille.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, both parties have agreed on a contract until 2027. Negotiations are in the final stages, with just one step remaining before the official signing.
The Portuguese coach ceased his duties as Porto's head coach yesterday, with the reasons for the separation undisclosed. Despite recently extending his contract with Porto until the summer of 2029, the club decided to part ways with the 49-year-old trainer.
Conceição had been managing Porto since the summer of 2017. Under his leadership, the "Dragons" won the Portuguese league title three times and the national cup four times. In the recently concluded season, Porto finished third in the league and won the national cup.
Marseille is actively searching for a new head coach. In the 2023/24 season, the "Olympians" finished eighth in the French league.
