Canada national team head coach Jesse Marsch came under Concacaf investigation over alleged use of abusive language towards officials during the Gold Cup match against Honduras. Now, the verdict from the governing body has been revealed.

Details: According to The Athletic, the Concacaf Disciplinary Committee found no clear rule violations by Marsch and cleared him of wrongdoing. He will be eligible to return to the touchline for the upcoming match against El Salvador, having already served a two-match suspension for his red card in the March fixture against the United States.

Meanwhile, the Canadian federation has been handed financial penalties for breaching security protocols for accredited personnel and failing to comply with anti-doping procedures.

Reminder: Canada currently leads Group B with four points from two matches and can secure a spot in the quarterfinals as long as they avoid defeat against El Salvador.
