Compromise! Divock Origi terminates contract with Milan
Origi's career at Milan never truly took off.
Details: According to renowned and credible insider Fabrizio Romano on his social network X page, 30-year-old Belgian striker Divock Origi has decided to terminate his contract with Milan by mutual consent.
The main reason for this decision was Origi’s high salary at Milan, which amounted to €4 million per year despite his lack of playing time.
Origi joined Milan in 2022 as a free agent from Liverpool. His last match for Milan was in 2023, after which Divock went on loan to Nottingham Forest, but failed to secure a spot there as well.
In total, Origi made 36 appearances for Milan, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist.
His contract with Milan was originally set to run until 2026, and his current market value is estimated at €500,000 according to Transfermarkt.
Reminder: Cancelled! The Milan vs. Como match, originally set to be played in Australia, has been called off
