Coaching change in Serie A! Udinese agree contract with new manager

Italian coach Paolo Zanetti has given his preliminary agreement to take charge of Udinese, replacing Kosta Runjaic in the dugout.

Details: According to respected insider Nicolò Schira, the parties have agreed on all the terms of the employment contract, which will run until the end of the current season — until June 2027. The appointment of the new manager is expected to be announced this evening, immediately after the official termination of Runjaic’s contract is completed.

Zanetti will be joined in the first-team setup by his long-time assistant Alberto Bertolini. The club’s management are counting on the arrival of the new coaching staff to shake up the squad and quickly improve the Friulian side’s position in the top flight.

It is worth noting that Paolo Zanetti has extensive experience in Italy’s Serie A, having previously managed Venezia, Empoli and Verona.
