Evan Ndicka scores his first goal of the season for Roma in Serie A

The Ivorian international defender found the back of the net on Saturday 31 October against Udinese, on matchday 10 of the Italian league.

In a match largely dominated by Roma at the Bluenergy Stadium, the 27-year-old defender scored his side’s fourth goal in the 37th minute. He headed home a corner from Matias Soulé, contributing to Roma’s goal-scoring spree.

This is Evan Ndicka’s first goal in eight league appearances this season. The Ivorian defender had finished the previous campaign with three goals in Serie A.

This first goal is a reward for his attacking contribution and complements his defensive performances for the Italian capital club. Evan Ndicka’s fine form is welcome news for Côte d’Ivoire, which is preparing for the upcoming international break.

The Elephants are set to face Gambia in a double-header as part of matchdays 3 and 4 of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
