Clouds gathering over the coach in South Africa. Golden Arrows head coach under threat

Golden Arrows head coach Pitso Dladla’s position has come under serious threat following the team’s dismal results in the South African top flight.

Details: According to sports outlet SoccerBeat, the club’s bosses in Durban are extremely unhappy with the team’s current form. Golden Arrows have managed just one win in their opening eight league matches, leaving the club perilously close to the relegation zone and putting their coach on the brink of dismissal.

The club’s management has already begun examining options for a change in the dugout in an urgent bid to turn around the team’s league campaign. Leading the list of potential candidates is highly regarded 57-year-old coach Mandla Ncikazi, whose candidacy enjoys the full confidence of the club’s management.

It is worth noting that Mandla Ncikazi previously managed Golden Arrows during the 2020/21 season, guiding the team to a record fourth-place finish in South Africa’s top division before going on to work successfully on the coaching staff at giants Orlando Pirates. The club’s leadership is counting on his wealth of tactical experience and excellent understanding of its football philosophy to help the team overcome its slump in the shortest possible time.
