Clinton Larsen Addresses KZN Coaching Speculation After Resigning from Magesi FC in South Africa

Clinton Larsen, the former Magesi FC coach, has addressed recent speculation linking him with a return to coaching in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) following his resignation from the Limpopo-based club.
Larsen resigned after Magesi FC's 3-0 defeat in the Carling Cup against an All-Star team on Saturday at Orlando Stadium. The 53-year-old said he decided to retire mainly because he wasn’t doing well in the Betway Premiership.
Larsen explained that no teams have reached out to him so far, even though there are rumors linking him to several KZN teams, such as Golden Arrows, AmaZulu FC, and Richards Bay FC. “Right now, no. None of the teams have contacted me. So any stories out there are just rumors,” Larsen told FARPost.
Larsen explained that while he is currently on a break from coaching, he would think about future offers. His decision would depend on the club’s goals and whether they have the right players to compete. He also mentioned that he would discuss any decision with his family before moving forward.
Coaches Jacky Ledwaba and Papi Zothwane will serve as Magesi FC's temporary leaders until their next league match against the Orlando Pirates in Polokwane on Sunday.
