In the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, Barcelona traveled to Guadalajara and managed to break their unlucky run on the road.
Details: The Catalans defeated their opponents 2-0 and kept a clean sheet. According to Opta, this is the first time Barcelona have kept a clean sheet in an away match since August 2025. The last time they did so was in the opening round of La Liga against Mallorca on 16 August. Since then, they had conceded in ten consecutive games.
By the way, the match between Guadalajara and Barcelona will kick off later than originally scheduled. Instead of 21:00 CET, the game will now start at 21:30 CET.
The reason behind the delay is safety concerns related to an additional stand. The stand is temporary and considered unsafe, prompting organizers to work on resolving the issues and obtaining permission for spectator access.
