Claudio Echeverri Close to Joining Almada and Tagliafico in France

According to European media, the transfer is part of the deal that took Rayan Cherki to Manchester City for €42 million plus variables. As part of the agreement, the English club will loan Echeverri for one season to Olympique Lyonnais, which already features Argentine players Nicolás Tagliafico and Thiago Almada.

Claudio "Diablito" Echeverri, recently included by Pep Guardiola in the Club World Cup squad, may be loaned out after limited playing time at City.
