Manchester City kicked off today's fixtures with an away victory over Nottingham Forest.
The Citizens' 2-1 win propelled them to the top of the league table, at least for a few hours. The star of the match was Ryan Cherki, who not only netted the winning goal but also provided an assist for Reijnders.
After the final whistle, the spotlight shifted to Erling Haaland. Embracing the Christmas spirit, the Norwegian thanked the fans for their support, gifted his shirt, and celebrated the victory sporting a festive hat.
It's worth noting that Man City will play their next match on January 1, 2026, against Sunderland.
