With the arrival of Nuno Espírito Santo as head coach, Nottingham Forest's performance has notably transformed. While they were teetering on the brink of relegation last season, they now find themselves among the leaders at the start of the current campaign.

One of the key architects of this success has been forward Chris Wood. The 32-year-old striker consistently finds the back of the net, scoring in almost every match, and he currently ranks second in the scoring chart, only behind Erling Haaland.

In today’s match against West Ham, Wood scored again, marking his fourth consecutive game with a goal. Additionally, the New Zealand international has now moved into a clear second place on the list of the club’s all-time top scorers in the Premier League, just one goal away from record holder Brian Roy.

To add, Wood has already netted eight goals in ten matches this season, with his career-best tally standing at 14 goals from last season.
