Chisora gave Deontay Wilder advice on how to resuscitate his career
British heavyweight Derek Chisora offered advice to Deontay Wilder, suggesting that the "Bronze Bomber" should change his team and coach.
"I think Deontay Wilder needs to change his team, and he will come back stronger than ever. [I think he should change] everything. He needs to go back to his old coach and just do what he used to do before. Jab and right hand straight down the middle, none of this trying to box.
He's a powerful puncher. He needs to touch the jab and throw the punch down the middle. Because he hasn't been doing that since," Chisora is quoted as saying by Seconds Out.
On June 1, Wilder was decisively beaten by Zhang Zhilei. The Chinese boxer secured a confident victory over the American by knocking him out in the fifth round. Overall, Wilder has lost 4 of his last 5 fights.
Promoter Frank Warren, after Wilder's loss, stated that he should have retired after his second defeat to Fury.
