Chippa United have hijacked Durban City's proposed loan of Orlando Pirates midfielder Goodman Mosele.
Mosele was to spend the upcoming Betway Premiership season on loan at City from Pirates like he did last season at Chippa but that is deal is off now.
And Mosele has signed for the Chilly Boys on a permanent deal from Pirates.
The former Baroka FC midfielder spent last two seasons on loan away from Pirates but his stay at Chippa was more useful as he was key to the team's survival in the PSL.
He has been instrumental for the Eastern Cape-based side that his absence was going to hurt them going into the new campaign.
Durban City will now be ruing their luck as the player left their base.
