Chilwell ready for Premier League debut with Crystal Palace—but it's not guaranteed

Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell moved to Crystal Palace on loan in search of more playing time. He recently made his debut for the Eagles in the FA Cup against Doncaster, playing one half. Now, manager Oliver Glasner has assessed his chances of making his Premier League debut.

Details: According to the Crystal Palace boss, Chilwell is fit and available to feature against Everton. However, being ready does not mean he is guaranteed a place in the lineup, as he still needs to earn his spot.

Quote: "Ben is ready to start. That doesn’t mean he will be in the starting XI, because Mitchell has also done well—we need to find the best combination. We’ve been quite successful in recent weeks and want to remain consistent, but it’s good to have options. There will be more intense periods in the coming months," Glasner stated.
