Chiesa aims to return to Serie A as multiple clubs show interest

After an underwhelming stint at Liverpool, midfielder Federico Chiesa is keen to return to Italy on loan to reignite his career. The Italian international is not short of options in his homeland.

Details. According to Footmercato, both Inter and Napoli have expressed concrete interest in acquiring the player.

Napoli is reportedly in a strong position to challenge its rivals for Chiesa’s signature, but the deal is not straightforward. Inter is also in the race and is preparing an offer. Fiorentina has also shown interest in bringing the player back.

It is believed that Chiesa does not intend to leave Liverpool permanently, but rather seeks a temporary move to reset his career.

Reminder. The winger continues to struggle with a longstanding issue—muscle injuries—that have hindered him from reaching peak form since joining Liverpool in the summer. The Italian midfielder has only managed to play four matches across all competitions for the Reds.

Notably, previous reports suggested that Trent Alexander-Arnold is considering a move away from Liverpool to join Real Madrid.
