The 38-year-old Mexican striker will start playing for the team in 2027, but will already be involved in the club’s development and promotion efforts.

Chicharito’s last club was Mexico’s Guadalajara, which he left at the start of 2026. After that, the experienced forward was a free agent before deciding to continue his career in the United States.

This move to Atlético Dallas represents a fresh challenge for one of Mexico’s most renowned footballers, offering him the chance to help a young club make its mark on the American soccer landscape.

Chicharito previously played for clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, West Ham, Bayer, Sevilla, LA Galaxy, and Guadalajara.
