Chicago Fire defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi's agent and coach agree the club is open to selling the player for the right offer
Chicago Fire will not stand on Mbekezeli Mbokazi's way should there be an offer for the South African defender.
The Bafana Bafana international has been a subject speculation since his impressive showing at the World Cup with Italian giants, Napoli, also being linked him.
The player's representative, Basia Michaels, told ESPN that they will entertain offers as they come.
"Chicago Fire have come forward and we've had conversations. They are willing to sell Mbokazi and they're not going to hold him back if a suitable offer arises," said Michaels.
"They are very open to any conversations that need to be had. They have to realise fair value for their investment."
This was confirmed by Mbokazi's coach at Chicago Fire, Gregg Berhalter.
"Like all of our players, we would be open to discussing if we saw the move was a significant sporting opportunity for the player, and support the long-term vision of the club," the coach said on ESPN.
