Chelsea maintains a serious interest in Roma's forward Paulo Dybala. According to Football Italia, the London club will attempt to sign the Wolves' star in January.

Reportedly, negotiations between representatives of the Blues and the player's agent have been ongoing for some time, but a recent injury to the footballer may postpone a potential transfer until the summer.

The Argentine's contract with Roma expires in 18 months, and the Roman club intends to offer him a new agreement. However, the player has not yet made a decision about his future.

The 30-year-old Argentine has become a crucial figure for the Giallorossi since his free transfer in the summer of 2022. The forward has scored 24 goals and provided 14 assists in 56 matches for Roma. This season, Dybala has scored six goals and delivered six assists in 18 matches across all competitions.

Earlier, we reported that Chelsea plans to extend the contract with its right-back.
