Chelsea ties back in action! Como targets Londoners’ forward

Como is gearing up for another high-profile deal with the London club.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Italian side Como has submitted an initial offer to Chelsea for the transfer of 23-year-old striker Liam Delap.

The English forward is among the top priorities on the Italian club’s shortlist for a new central striker. Como’s management has built an excellent working relationship with Chelsea, further strengthened after the recent €30 million transfer of defender Trevoh Chalobah.

Delap is expected to leave the Blues in the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.

Worth noting: in the 2025/26 season, the striker made 28 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, scoring one goal. Leading portal Transfermarkt values the player at €28 million, and his contract with the London club runs until summer 2031.
