The situation around Enzo intensified in April 2026 after his ambiguous comments expressing admiration for Real, which even led to a temporary suspension from the squad. In response, Chelsea began to explore options to strengthen their midfield. Alex Scott, who has emerged as a true Premier League revelation this season and earned a call-up to the England national team, is considered one of the club’s top targets.
