Chelsea ready to part ways with star forward: Leeds enters the race for the striker

Details: Chelsea is considering selling striker Liam Delap during the current transfer window. According to Ekrem Konur, the London club values the forward at €41–46 million and is open to negotiations with potential buyers.

One of the contenders for the 23-year-old Englishman is Leeds United, who are actively seeking to bolster their attacking line ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season.

The Leeds management is already aware of the financial terms of a possible deal and sees Delap as one of the main candidates to strengthen their front line. At the same time, the club is also working on other options, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin, aiming to create serious competition for a starting spot.

Chelsea has not yet made a final decision regarding the player's future, but the likelihood of his departure this summer remains high.

Delap's current contract with Chelsea runs until 2031, and his transfer value is estimated at €28 million by Transfermarkt.
