Chelsea plan to move for another midfielder and a defender in the summer

The aim is to ease the workload on Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández, as injuries to Lavia and Essugo have forced Enzo Maresca to deploy Reece James and Malo Gusto in central midfield. Chelsea have shown interest in Kobbie Mainoo and Adam Wharton.
