Chelsea midfielder could end up at another English top club!
London’s Chelsea, faced with a surplus of players, continues to explore options for loans and transfers. One member of the squad is attracting particularly close attention.
Details: According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea’s and Argentina’s midfielder, Enzo Fernández, has emerged as a target for Manchester City. The Citizens are interested in a transfer, and the team’s head coach, Enzo Maresca, is keen to reunite with his former protégé.
Still, the transfer won’t come cheap: the London club has no intention of selling the player to a direct rival for less than £116 million. Moreover, City is only considering the move if Spaniard Rodri leaves the club, potentially returning to Spain.
In the 2025/26 season, Fernández featured in 54 matches for Chelsea, netting 15 goals and providing seven assists. The Transfermarkt portal values the Argentine midfielder at €100 million.
