Chelsea is facing the prospect of a massive player clear-out before the summer transfer window shuts. According to talkSPORT, the club could see several footballers depart in the coming weeks.

Following an aggressive transfer campaign, the Blues’ roster has swollen to 46 players. With the London club missing out on European competitions this season, Xabi Alonso will have to make some tough decisions to trim the squad.

Among those rumored to be heading for the exit are Filip Jorgensen, Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Benoît Badiashile. Malo Gusto and Pedro Neto have also attracted interest from other clubs, with Manchester City reportedly keen on both. The future of Enzo Fernández remains uncertain as well, with City eyeing the Argentine—especially if Rodri ends up moving to Barcelona.

Additionally, Chelsea could send Dário Essugo out on loan to gain much-needed match experience. The club must also decide on Mykhailo Mudryk, who has received clearance to return to official matches, with Coventry City expressing interest in the Ukrainian winger.

Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson are also among those who could be on the move. One thing is clear: the Blues will need to significantly lighten their squad by September 1.
