Chelsea is ready to sell its midfielder and has already determined the price

It was previously reported that Tottenham was eyeing a transfer for 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, and now the asking price set by the Blues for the player has been revealed. According to The Sun, Chelsea is aiming for a fee of £50 million for Gallagher.
The Spurs have set their sights on the Chelsea player following James Maddison's injury and the potential sale of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this winter.
Last month, when asked about his contract, Gallagher expressed his fondness for playing at Chelsea.
"I'm sure that will get sorted. Everyone knows Chelsea is my club, and I enjoy playing for them. The fans are brilliant, and I love that. I'm sure it will all be sorted."
It's also been noted that Newcastle, West Ham and Manchester United are interested in Gallagher, aiming to bolster their midfield. Meanwhile, as reports suggest, Ange Postecoglou has set his sights on Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi in a bid to strengthen his defensive center.
With just a week remaining until the January transfer window, Spurs will soon need to make a decision regarding Gallagher. They hope to strengthen their squad in their bid to compete with Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa for the championship.
