Chelsea have found a back-up option in case the Osimhen transfer fails

London Chelsea have almost set Napoli leader Victor Osimhen as their main target for the summer transfer window, reportedly costing them £100m, but Stamford Bridge are ready for the forward to fail to lure him to them and have prepared a plan B.

It involves trying to sign a striker from another Serie A club, and according to HITC, that would be Inter's Lautaro Martinez. Difficulties may arise because the Argentine is negotiating a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

It should also be understood that Chelsea's financial situation due to financial fair-play is deplorable, so it is not clear how much Stamford Bridge will be able to afford to spend in the summer transfer window.
