Chelsea has no intention to reinforce the goalkeeper position
Chelsea holds high regard for the performances of their goalkeepers, Robert Sanchez and George Petrovich. The club is satisfied with their goalkeepers and has no intention to strengthen this position, as reported by The Athletic.
Rumors had surfaced previously about a potential attempt to acquire Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin during the winter transfer window, fueled by reports suggesting Mauricio Pochettino wasn't pleased with Robert Sanchez's performances.
We recently reported that Chelsea offered Real Madrid a goalkeeper exchange next summer. The "Blues" aim for a swap: Kepa Arrizabalaga remains in Madrid after the season ends while Real Madrid's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin moves to London as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, the London club is also in talks to sign a forward. Possibly, this might involve a pre-agreement for a transfer after the current season concludes. Notably, Chelsea's primary priority in the winter transfer window will be securing a prolific forward.
