Chelsea is considering options to bolster their attack for the upcoming season. One of the players they have shown interest in is Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.

However, according to Matt Law, Chelsea's management no longer considers the Swedish footballer as a potential transfer. This decision stems from Newcastle demanding a very high fee for Isak, around £115 million.

Despite significant spending in recent years, Chelsea will have to adopt a more restrained approach this summer to comply with Premier League financial regulations.

Isak scored 21 goals in 30 Premier League matches for Newcastle last season. His current contract with the club runs for another five years. It's also noted that Arsenal is interested in signing him this year.

It's worth noting that one of Chelsea's transfer targets for the summer window was Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise. However, Chelsea also decided against pursuing a transfer for this player.
