Yesterday, Nagelsmann’s men were simply unstoppable.

Details: After a resounding 6-0 victory over Slovenia in the final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Germany secured top spot in their group, sealing a direct ticket to the World Cup.

This marks Germany’s 21st appearance at the World Cup, making them the second most frequent participant in the tournament’s history. The only nation with more is the “football magicians” of Brazil, who have now qualified directly for the World Cup for the 23rd time.

The Germans racked up 16 goals and claimed 15 points in a group featuring Slovakia, Northern Ireland, and Luxembourg.

Reminder: Thomas Müller could join Julian Nagelsmann’s coaching staff for the 2026 World Cup
