Chaos erupts in Paris ahead of French Cup final as PSG ultras attack Nice supporters

Paris was transformed into a battleground on the eve of the French Cup final between Nice and Lens, scheduled for this Friday.
Details: According to RMC Sport, around 11:30 p.m. yesterday, about a hundred Nice ultras, who were relaxing in a local bar, moved out into the street looking for rival fans. At that very moment, members of the notorious Parisian hooligan group Karsud (the former radical wing of PSG, banned from the club's official fan movement back in 2017) entered the fray. Eyewitnesses from the Nice camp claim the evening was unfolding peacefully until word spread that the Parisian gang, out for a fight, was approaching.
Notably, law enforcement had originally rated this match at level 3 out of 5 on the risk scale. However, the National Division for the Fight Against Hooliganism, in its confidential reports, warned of a much more serious and unexpected threat: an attack by radical PSG supporters.
The police analysts were absolutely right. In a DNLH document obtained by journalists, it was stated that Parisian groups, despite PSG not playing in the final, were planning a "hunt" in the capital.
Authorities emphasized that Parisians hold a longstanding and highly aggressive grudge against both Nice and Lens supporters. That prediction proved all too accurate: in the early hours of Friday, a massive and brutal brawl erupted on the Quai de Valmy in Paris’s 10th arrondissement.
