Barcelona cannot afford Rashford’s transfer.
Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, London’s Arsenal has renewed its interest in the 28-year-old Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at Barcelona.
It is reported that, as negotiations between Manchester United and Barcelona over Rashford’s permanent move have stalled, the Gunners have once again stepped up their pursuit. Arsenal had already shown interest in Rashford in the winter of 2025, but at that time the winger moved to Aston Villa on loan.
If Barcelona fails to secure Rashford’s contract, Arsenal—who have greater financial resources—could make the move instead.
This season, Rashford has played 46 matches for Barcelona, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists. His loan spell at Barcelona ends this summer. According to Transfermarkt, Rashford’s market value is estimated at 40 million euros.
