Changed his mind? Vinicius makes decision about his future amid Arsenal interest
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has opted to remain with the Spanish giants, despite earlier reports linking him with a possible move to Arsenal in London.
According to Football Insider, the Brazilian has made renewing his contract with Real Madrid his top priority. Journalist Pete O'Rourke claims the 25-year-old wants to continue his career at the Bernabéu, and talks over a new deal could pick up pace in the coming weeks.
Earlier, it was reported that the Gunners had supposedly agreed personal terms with Vinicius for a potential contract. However, this information has yet to be confirmed by more credible sources.
Meanwhile, TEAMtalk reports that Real Madrid’s management is unwilling to take any chances and let one of the team’s key players enter the final year of his contract without an extension in place. If both sides fail to reach an agreement, Los Blancos are more likely to consider selling the player this summer than risk losing him for free when his contract expires.
