Chandler responded to the question of whether the fight with McGregor is still on

American UFC fighter Michael Chandler commented on the upcoming fight against Conor McGregor. According to him, the fight is still on schedule.
"The fight is happening. Yes, there's been a lot of speculation, but nobody has canceled the bout. We're going to scrap as planned on June 29th.
Conor always brings an exciting and flashy fight from the get-go. I promise you, I'll put on an explosive performance. When the fight starts, I'll rush to the center of the octagon. You'll see two guys going face to face... May the strongest man win," Chandler said for The Pivot Podcast.
Chandler and McGregor are set to fight on June 29th at UFC 303 in Las Vegas. The official ticket sales for the event started on April 26th.
The 35-year-old McGregor hasn't fought since July 2021 when he broke his leg during the trilogy with Dustin Poirier. Previously, the legendary UFC fighter became a co-owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Bare Knuckle is touted as "the fastest-growing sports company in the world."
