Chancel Mbemba will continue his professional career in Saudi Arabia. The Congolese international has signed for Al Diriyah, the newly promoted side in the Saudi Pro League. The Saudi club officially announced the signing of the 31-year-old defender on 5 August, though they did not disclose the details of his contract.
Chancel Mbemba arrives in Saudi Arabia with a wealth of experience in Europe. The Congolese player has played for several European clubs, notably Newcastle United in England, Olympique Marseille in France, FC Porto in Portugal, Anderlecht in Belgium and, more recently, Lille in France.
