England are just one step away from securing promotion back to League A of the Nations League, with Lee Carsley's side needing a win against Ireland to seal the deal. However, the interim manager of the Three Lions is not getting carried away and is approaching the match with the utmost seriousness.

Details: Carsley acknowledged that his team is in a strong position heading into the final Nations League group stage game but emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and showing respect to their opponents.

Quote: "I think we’ve put ourselves in a better position than before the game, but we’re certainly not celebrating yet. It’s important we give Ireland the respect they deserve, and we’re looking forward to a packed Wembley to, hopefully, achieve a good result," Carsley told RTE.

Reminder: The match against Ireland on November 17 will be Carsley’s final game in charge of England. Starting with the fixtures in March, regardless of their nature, the team will be managed by Thomas Tuchel.
