Cars, orders, and medals. President of Uzbekistan rewards the national team for qualifying for the 2026 World Cup

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has rewarded the national football team for their historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The players received cars as gifts, along with state honors.

During a special ceremony, the footballers were presented with BYD cars—the Chinese automaker was chosen for this symbolic gift, as announced on the official website of the president.

In addition to the cars, players and coaching staff members will be awarded honorary titles, orders, and medals—a corresponding decree has already been signed by the head of state.

It is worth recalling that the Uzbekistan national team for the first time in its history qualified for the final stage of the World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
