Young Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz claimed his fourth title of the 2024 season.

Details: In a thrilling three-set final at the Beijing tournament, the world No. 3 defeated top-ranked Jannik Sinner.

The first set went to a tiebreak, where Sinner narrowly edged Alcaraz 8-6. However, Alcaraz broke Sinner in the ninth game of the second set and took it 6-4.

The decisive third set also went to a tiebreak, but this time Alcaraz dominated, winning 7-3.

Reminder: Earlier this season, Alcaraz won titles at Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the Indian Wells Masters.
