Aubameyang may be on the move to a new club.
Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, 37-year-old Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could depart Marseille as early as this summer.
Reports indicate that Aubameyang's salary at Marseille is excessively high and is putting significant strain on the club's budget, hindering their ability to sign new players. As a result, Marseille are now considering putting Aubameyang up for sale during the summer transfer window.
According to the source, the main contenders for the 37-year-old striker are Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, Çorum FK, as well as several clubs from the USA, Italy, and Spain.
Aubameyang joined Marseille in the summer of 2025 as a free agent. Last season, he made 41 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's market value is estimated at €2.5 million by Transfermarkt.
