The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected a refereeing crew from Cape Verde to manage the match between Zamalek and Mozambican Black Bulls, scheduled to be held at Cairo International Stadium on January 12, 2024, in the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
The refereeing team includes:
Referee: Fabrício Andrade Santos
Assistant Referees: Jorge Correia Semedo and Delgado Fernandes Wilson
Fourth Official: Delgado dos Santos Rocha
In addition, Louis Blaise Madeleine of Seychelles will act as the principal match commissioner, and Ignácio Manuel Cândido of Angola will supervise the referees. Ali Muyibi from Uganda has been named the game's general coordinator.
CAF agreed to the request from Zamalek and Black Bulls to move the match from Mozambique to Cairo due to logistical issues.
This important match in the Confederation Cup group stage will give Zamalek a chance to improve their position for the next round. Both teams are likely to give their best as the tournament continues.
