John Comitis has revealed his club, Cape Town City, has reported Algerian team, CR Belouizdad, to Fifa.

The Cape Town City chairman disclosed that the North Africans were due to pay them their final instalment of transfer fee for former striker Khanyisa Mayo but did not.

Mayo has since returned to South Africa, albeit on loan from Belouizdad to Kaizer Chiefs, for the previous season.

Now City confirmed the matter is at the Fifa desk.

"That is correct. I believe they have done a deal with Kaizer Chiefs but have not yet paid us our last instalment. The money was due in February. It's disappointing when clubs don't respect their transfer agreements when they sign them," said Comitis on SABC Sport.

It has also emerged that there is no clarity on whether he player will return to Algeria as the loan spell expired or he will remain at Naturena.
