Cape Town City continue to make known their intentions of returning to the Betway Premiership with the pursuit of Sekhukhune United's Miguel Timm
Miguel Timm is on the verge of moving to Cape Town City from Sekhukhune United.
The former Orlando Pirates midfielder is about to trade the Betway Premiership for the Motsepe Foundation league.
According to reports, Timm is in Cape Town to conclude a deal with the National First Division side having not been able to command a regular place at Sekhukhune.
Cape Town City are said to be interested in signing experienced players in their bid to return to the elite division after one in the NFD after their relegation last season.
They have former PSL Defender of the Season Njabulo Ngcobo and former Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzho Gordinho who captains the side, as their go to players for experience.
And the addition of Timm is also seen as the step in that direction as the Mother City club is now fourth on the MFC table.
Timm is loaded with experience having played for Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants to mention three teams, in his career.
His arrival is expected to coincide with next month’s transfer window.
