Cape Town City announces contract termination with Darren Keet

The experienced shot-stopper is set to continue his career elsewhere.
Details: The 35-year-old South African goalkeeper departs Cape Town City after four years with the club. Reports indicate that Darren left the team by mutual consent. The contractual agreement between the club and the player was terminated prematurely, despite still having a year left on the deal.
Since joining Cape Town City from Cape Umoya United in 2021, Darren Keet made 104 appearances for the South African side and became one of the squad's most respected members.
Throughout his career, Keet also played for clubs such as Bidvest Wits, Belgian sides Kortrijk and Leuven. The goalkeeper also earned 13 caps for the South African national team.
