Despite protests from the Senegalese side, the CAF president put an end to the debate over the winner:
"We respect the decision made at the highest level. Morocco is officially recognized as the AFCON 2025 champion!"
It should be noted that in yesterday's match, Senegal calmly defeated Peru 2-0.
